our nl wool is a pure raw sheep wool yarn sourced from a special group shepherds we partner with in northern greece. it’s purely natural, unprocessed, unwashed and non-softened with any modern industrial washing detergent or mordent so a level of itchiness should be expected on first wears. it has its natural smell and it might feel a bit rough at hand at start but it has the strong ability to adapt to the skin’s texture and natural odour and its softens significantly through wear. the more it gets worn the more it will become softer and smoother and will last in time. all our animals are treated with care and respect – we collaborate with small shepherd groups that work in small batches in order to avoid brutal animal exploitation and promote a safe environment.
